Visual Art I

 

This Fundamental course explores the Elements of Art and introduces the Principles of Design through basic drawing, painting, 2-D, & 3-D project requirements. Materials and media used will include but are not limited to graphite artist pencils, Prisma Color pencils, acrylic paint, ink, oil pastels and clay. A consumable course fee of $25 is requested to maintain the quality of art education that CHS has to offer. Please refer to the Course Syllabus for further explanation of Mrs. Gary's class expectations. Students will earn 1 Credit at the completion of this course that spans 1 Semester.  Teacher recommendation for Art II is not required, however, students are encouraged to sign up for Art II following Art I if at all possible.
