Visual Art II

 

This Intermediate course reviews the Elements of Art and Focuses on the Principles of Design through more advanced drawing, painting, 2-D, & 3-D project requirements. Materials and media used will include but are not limited to Graphite Artist Pencils, Prisma Color pencils, oil and chalk pastels, gauche & acrylic paint, ink, charcoal, and clay. A consumable course fee of $40 is requested to maintain the quality of art education that CHS has to offer. Please refer to the Course Syllabus for further explanation of Mrs. Gary's expectations. Students will earn 1 Credit at the completion of this course that spans 1 Semester.  Teacher recommendation for Art III is Required; students are encouraged to sign up for Art III following Art II. Please refer to Mrs. Witherow's WebSite for further information.
