It's that time of year again when art students are eligible to apply for the National Art Honor Society! This National organization is open to any art student during the 2019-2020 school year and beyond. In other words, if you're in art now, apply and are accepted, you will be a member for the duration of your high school career. We will also be pairing with the Art Club this year! So not matter which one you join, it's a win-win.

Applications are available during our first meeting in August--so listen for the announcement.  The application will be due along with 3 pieces of art work by the next meeting. (these could be works that you have done in the past, drawings, paintings, etc. Please cut the fringe from your sketches if they've been completed in a sketchbook)

If you are interested in becoming a Sponsor for the National Art Honor Society, please contact Mrs. Gary via my contact page.  We are very willing to do our part in regarding community service and would love to offer our talents and leadership to your business or organization.

What is NAHS?

The National Art Honor Society (NAHS) is designed specifically for high school students in grades 9-12. In 1978, the National Art Education Association began the National Art Honor Society program to inspire & recognize students who have shown an outstanding ability & interest in art. The NAHS strives to aid members in attaining the highest standards in art scholarship, character, & service, and to bring art education to the attention of the school & community.
